Hi I’m Spud - and what a cute little spud I am! I just love to be around people and in the middle of it all. My dream home is to live as an inside/outside dog with a family with kind children, and where there’s a nice, friendly dog for company too. I’m a happy, submissive type pup. You can touch between my toes or around my ears - I love it! I’ll share my food bowl with the big dog and you can take away my bowl and I won’t flinch.

I like to climb - I’m pretty good at jumping up onto laps, tee hee! I know to wait at the door until I’m given the OK to come inside. If you’re inside, I’ll stand at the window or door where I can see you and whine because I want to be where you are!

I’m a smart little fella and being athletic, I reckon we could have some fun doing doggy athletics :)

Wanna know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like daily training so that I learn and practice the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it; and so I always obey what you tell me to do. Consistent, clear boundaries will mean that I always know the right way to behave. And of course, socializing with lots of people, dogs and other animals is important too. Getting out and about to exercise at least once a day is vital for me as it stimulates my brain and body, creates opportunities for me to socialise and it tires me out. It will stop me from creating mischief at home!!!! That’s after I’ve been fully vaccinated and the vaccine has had the required time afterwards to take effect, of course!

A few hours flying is absolutely worth it for remotely located animals if it means we have the opportunity to be adopted. My airfare to Perth is $150 thanks to QANTAS, and I can fly elsewhere in Australia too.
