About Lucy & Patch
Little Lucy is a darling! She is a very small girl who loves to curl up on your shoulder for a snuggle. At some point in her life, we don't know when or how, Lucy went blind, as a result her other senses have become very highly tuned to the point where at times it's almost as if she can see. Lucy's blindness has a minimal impact on her quality of life. She takes some time to learn her environment, and is wary of stairs and being on the ground around people who are walking, but otherwise she is fine, she runs and plays with Patch, loves to sniff all over the large backyard, and is very loving and snuggly.
Lucy is learning the lifestyle of an inside dog and is absolutely loving it, as with Patch she does need to be taken outside regularly at this stage for toileting.
Lucy and Patch are a bonded brother and sister pair, and we will not be separating them. To learn more about Patch please see our ad titled 'Patch & Lucy'
Lucy & Patch's adoption fee is $800. This includes their desexing, microchips and up to date vaccinations, flea and worming treatments. If you would like to learn more about Lucy & Patch, please contact us! Wet Noses Animal rescue.
Medical notes
Lucy is blind. Patch has had his teeth cleaned.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting a companion animal, please message us. You will need to complete an application form, which will be assessed along with any others that have come in at the same time. You can meet the pet before or after applying. In some cases more than one meeting may be required.
We also conduct a home check to make sure that things like fencing are suitable for the pet, and provide advice on helping the new pet settle in.
If your application is approved, the pet can go to your home on a two week trial once the adoption fee is paid.
If for any reason the trial is not successful, the adoption fee will be refunded less a $25 admin fee.
