About Kasy D3771
I’m Kasy. I have lots of energy, and I also love cuddles and attention. I love children too. I bark at the rabbits and chooks so we’re not sure about me living with small animals. At the moment, I’m a bit nervous of people I don’t know, but there are lots of visitors to my foster home and I’m getting more confident as they’re all nice to me. They give me space and let me come to them and sniff them. They pat me so I can see their hand while they pat. And they give me treats, too.
Playing with the other pups is such fun. They can get a bit rough but I muck in too. Sometimes I sook like they’ve hurt me when they haven’t - it’s just that I think they’re going to hurt me! I’d like a calm home with someone who’ll give me attention and make me feel safe. I wouldn’t mind if you had a nice dog. Gentle, older children - maybe over seven - would be great!
Wanna know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like daily training so that I learn and practice the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it; and so I always obey what you tell me to do. Consistent, clear boundaries will mean that I always know the right way to behave. And of course, socializing with lots of people, dogs and other animals is important too. Getting out and about to exercise at least twice a day is vital for me as it stimulates my brain and body, creates opportunities for me to socialise and it tires me out. It will stop me from creating mischief at home!!!! That’s after I’ve been fully vaccinated and the vaccine has had the required time afterwards to take effect, of course!
I have an umbilical hernia. They’re very common and the vet said it needs checking again when I have my desex. If it’s still there, they would fix it at the same time as my desex.
A few hours flying is absolutely worth it for remotely located animals if it means we have the opportunity to be adopted. My airfare to Perth is $150 thanks to QANTAS, and I can fly elsewhere in Australia too.
