About Mia (on trial adoption)
This is Mia an 18 month old Kelpie X Staffy. Mia is a beautiful young girl inside and out.
This is what Mia's foster carer says about her:
" " " Mia is friendly, playful young girl who thrives from calm, confident, assertive, positive energy. This is a big must! For her to be a well balanced, happy girl! No mollycoddling. She needs a leader she can have confidence in which reassures her. She is responding so well to training. She is a breeze with everything because with everything because she is so responsive to correction. Mia has learned what fun it is to chase a tennis ball, so loves doing zoomies chasing after it.
Good with other dogs & savvy cats who stand their ground, and easily corrected if her playful nature wants to chase the cat. Shows little to no interest in her foster carers Guinea pigs. They are kept at ground level outside and she has never tried to get to them. She gets along lovely with other dogs & has been living with a poodle, she just wants to play. She’s still in puppy mode.
My dog being older will let her know when she’s going too far into her space but never ever gets out of hand or does she ever show dominance or aggression to another dog. She is truly a sweet heart.
I have a little 3 year old daughter who zooms around Mia on her bike and scooter and cuddles her endlessly and smooches in bed with her and Mia has proven to be so tolerant and affectionate. Mia like all dogs will need a daily walk. She has energy and if it isn’t released she will become easily bored and chew the closest form of entertainment on offer.
We are training her to be an inside dog, we’ve noted she is happy to have access to both outside and indoors. She is too affectionate and seeking of leadership to be just left outside. She needs to be part of the pack and she’s happy to submit. She has responded perfectly to toilet training and always needs access to outside so she can relieve herself when needed. Haven’t had ANY mishaps inside. Walks well on the lead, she is such a good girl there’s no dragging and again is easily corrected.
Mia is an all round perfect family dog with the most beautiful of temperaments. This one will hurt the heart to see her leave us when she finds a forever home." " "
If you can offer Mia the home she is looking for, she would love to hear from you. She is in foster care in Blacktown and can be transported for the right family. All our dogs have a two week trial period in their new home.
