About Evie
Evie has been in care for a fair few months and is showing us that goofy and confident side of her once she trusts her new home. Her foster home have helped her progress further with her trust, her comfort zones and also her training.
This beautiful girl even spent her first birthday in care and we hope she doesn't have to spend her second.
She is fantastic with other dogs, the more playful the better. She loved to run, rumble and tumble around so a home with another playful and social dog is A MUST for this stunner.
She isn't suitable to go to a home without another dog.
Evie is quite timid so needs a home that understands that some trust, patience and work will need to be put into making sure she settles properly.
She is good with dog savvy kids, and may suit a gentle set of kids to be in a home with.
Evie is in foster care with cats and rabbits also and is very social with both so would easily adjust to a home with these additions.
She is also used to being in a home with full time workers so along as another dog is with her. She would be fine with a standard work schedule.
Once she trusts her new home, she has shown to love going out and about to the beach, for walks and even other people's houses for play dates.
We don't think she would suit rural living, unfortunately within that trust time she needs to have that security of proper fencing and we would hate for her to escape with fear. So due to this quiet suburban homes are best suited with fencing of at least 5 ft for safety and security.
Evie MUST be allowed into the house when someone is home and at night as she really does love the company. She is well toilet trained, crate trained and also mastering her basic obedience well.
Evie is ready for her new home and is located in the Newcastle region. Her adoption fee is $350.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
