Chelsea ~ Kelpie x puppy (on trial 8/2/2018)

Please let me introduce the snuggle pot, Chelsea who is a lovely 7 week old Kelpie x puppy. She has the most cuddly personality - her favourite things are a tummy rub and a cuddle.

Chelsea is already starting to learn how to sit and her toilet training is progressing quickly.

Chelsea is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. She has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. She's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.

Chelsea will grow up to be a medium size dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.

It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Chelsea. If you don't have another dog to keep her company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time. As Chelsea is a working dog breed, she will need exercise and stimulation and may get lonely at home by herself for long periods.

Chelsea needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).

Chelsea's siblings: Graeme, Cora, Arthur, Raven, Red Dog, Bryan, Stewie, Chuck and Georgie are also available for adoption.

Chelsea will be ready for adoption when she is 10 weeks old. As Chelsea is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
