Arthur ~ Kelpie x puppy (on trial 7/2/2018)

How could you resist Arthur? Oh my, this 7 week old Kelpie x puppy is just gorgeous with a personality to match. Arthur enjoys a good play and after, loves to come sit by you for a good pat and some quiet time. He just has it all!

Arthur is enjoying chew toys and exploring the yard. He likes to follow you around and is learning to sit.

Arthur is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. He has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. He's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.

Arthur will grow up to be a medium size dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.

It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Arthur. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time. As Arthur is a working dog breed, he will need exercise and stimulation and may get lonely at home by himself for long periods.

Arthur needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).

Arthur's siblings: Cora, Chelsea, Graeme, Raven, Red Dog, Bryan, Stewie, Chuck and Georgie are also available for adoption.

Arthur will be ready for adoption when he is 10 weeks old. As Arthur is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
