Lady ~ 12 year old Chihuahua X (on trial 4/2/18)

My name is Lady. I am a 12 year old female Chihuahua x, desperately seeking the next love of my life.

I like long walks and sitting next to you on the couch watching TV. I’ve been enjoying the tennis lately but that’s open for negotiation. I walk like a dream on the lead, showing off my sleek 2.5kg body.

I believe my ideal partner will be someone who is older and home a lot. I have great manners (I don’t jump and never get on furniture unless invited) and I’m fully house trained. Not one single accident at my current foster house. I sit when asked and even through in the odd beg just because I know it’ll make you smile. I love a game of fetch with my stuffed toys. There’s plenty of puppy still left in this old girl!

I currently have foster fur sisters, I don’t hate them, I just don’t really care for them. You see I just want that one person who will love me the most. I don’t think it’s too much to ask, because that’s exactly what I am offering in return. Blinding love, loyalty and companionship.

I like old men…there I said it. I have previously had a loving owner but unfortunately time has separated us, and it has taken a toll on me. When I first came into care I had terrible nightmares and cried for my previous owner. With the support of my foster family the nightmares have stopped but I still don’t like being left alone. Want to go to Bunnings? Take me, I love Bunnings. Want to go visit grandkids? We can do that, I love the car and I’m very patient with kids.

Now this one is a deal breaker … I need to sleep inside. I would love to sleep in your bed. I’m 2.5 kg how much room could I really take up? But, I will happily sleep in my own bed on the floor beside yours. I just need to be near you.

I have not met a cat yet, but I have met a bird in a cage and I found it completely dull.
