About Bella ~ Kelpie X
Hi, I'm Bella. I'm looking for my furever home. I'm a very small Kelpie cross (only 7kg) who loves cuddles and tummy rubs. So if you're looking for a pint-sized snuggle-bunny, I'm your girl!
I'm 5 months old and full of life and love but very obedient. I come when I'm called, sit (most of the time), I know to listen to 'No!'. I'll be a great learner for some more obedience training. I'm still getting the toilet training thing down-pat, I'm 80% there, I just need reminding when it’s time to go out and 'do toilet'.
I don't bark much, mostly when I get startled or scared. I need a secure yard to be safe as I can fit through pretty small holes.
I am used to having a doggy brother or sister to keep me company. Mum is not really sure how I'd go on my own, but if you're home during the day I can give it a try. I love kids but am still learning to play gentle so would be best with children at least 5 years old. I have not known any cats so try introducing me and see how I go. I love to chase small fluffy things so pocket pets are a no-no.
I hope to meet you soon so I can curl up next to you for a nice snuggle.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
