About Rufus
Rufus is a sweet (not so little) ginger boy. He's a very gentle and quiet cat, still shy around people but very excited, playful and affectionate around fellow kitties.
He needs someone with the patience and gentle kindness to show him that people can be just as lovely as feline companions, as he is at times very cautious and nervous.
Despite this, Rufus is a curious and clever cat with a few amusing little quirks that you come to discover as he gets more comfortable in his home. He'll often be walking around and abruptly decide to sprawl himself flat in the middle of a room or walkway for no apparent reason. You'll also often spot him sitting/laying/sleeping in some funny poses and most commonly with one or both paws tucked half under themselves. You'll definitely come across him hanging out in obscure places when he thinks no one is looking.
When he's not seeking out a comfy spot to sleep in, he's seeking out the company and cuddles of other cats.
Rufus would love a home with:
- At least one friendly cat to hang out with
- Patient, laid back humans with no children (untested with dogs)
- Plenty of windows (or even better, a secure outdoor enclosure)
- Plenty of spots to explore (indoors) and things to investigate
- Lots of comfy spots, some secluded/hidden for when he's feeling shy
Rufus is located in Pakenham.
Medical notes
Rufus is healthy, is full vaccinated, flea and worm treated and is desexed.
