Have you ever seen a face so tender and eyes so sweet? Shadow's gentle and companionable nature belies her young age; at just 11 months old, this girl is still a pup who needs some guidance in the world. Shelter life can be overwhelming at times so this lady is looking for a kind spirit and a special home in which she can truly flourish.

While she can often be found curled up on her bed watching the various goings on here at Kemps Creek, Shadow would love to be included in daily adventures with her new family. Her youthful energy could be expended through long walks, a trip to the park or beach, or even a game of backyard fetch. Shadow's ideal new human will be home more often than not and/or be able to take her along to run daily errands. The perfect forever sidekick, Shadow adores her human friends and would prefer to spend most of her time just hanging out enjoying your company, so the 9 to 5 working life isn't really for her. This girl is known as a skilled high jumper and a fence is no obstacle to her when she feels she needs to 'find' her family. Secure Colourbond fencing is a must in her new digs, and if she is to be left alone, she will be safest whiling away the time inside the house with a puzzle toy or two.

Shadow has been spending some time with a few more mature pooches here at the shelter to help her grow her confidence and we feel that, with time and further safe socialisation, she will make a great doggy pal. For now, being the only dog in her new home will be just fine; more pats and attention is never a bad thing!
