About Jiffy
No cats.
Calm dogs only – meet and greet needed first.
Hi my name is Jiffy. I’m a lovely small boy that sadly needs a new home through no fault of my own.
Not much is known about me, SRV are trying to get some more information but they do know I’ve had a tough time up until now. I am rather cute though don’t you think? I’m well bred and have pedigree papers which SRV are also trying to obtain copies of.
I have had my behavioural assessment done, some of which is below.
2. Obedience skills
Dog knows sit? Somewhat
Dog knows Drop (Down)? No
Other: Will respond to name if not distracted. Walks well on the lead generally
Affiliation – engagement and general activity level
Tester neutral standing: Generally calm with mid level energy levels evident when entered the assessing area. Nil stress evident, some interest and interaction with tester but minimal.
Tester neutral sitting:
Summary of Test –summary of observation and testing
• Jiffy has some good energy and activity levels for an older dog
• He has a relatively calm disposition and has some degree of sociability as he doesn’t seek contact and interaction from humans without some prompting
• He is tolerant of touch and restraint
• Jiffy has good, sound nerves with nil reaction to sudden sounds and noises
• Very high and intense drives with toys and balls. Would need to watch for possible guarding of toys and also possible obsessive behaviour with large balls
• Nil resource guarding of food and was able to take food gently from hand
• No aggression/reactivity towards other dogs at time of testing.
Adoption Criteria
• All family situations
• Not tested with cats or other small animals.

As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
