About Lucifer - has a Meet and Greet Organised
Meet our young and affectionate male German Shepherd Lucifer, who is an eight month old loyal and loving dog who has come into our care through no fault of his own.
Lucifer has grown up with adult dogs and is social and friendly. He has also grown up around cats and kittens and only wants to be friends and play.
This young dog needs obedience training and lead work and we are working on this whilst he is in our care. Lucifer has a soft nature and would be a great family dog. We would suggest to continue with his training that Lucifer attend a dog training group so he continues with his obedience training.
Being a young dog Lucifer needs a home where he is not left all day alone. He is provided with regular exercise and a daily routine and inclusion in the home. He will grow into a 40 kilo plus dog when full grown and being still young we would suggest a home with older children.
Lucifer is currently in care at Hornsby and is being house trained and learning boundaries. So if you are looking for a loyal companion and understand you have a 12 to 13 year commitment with Lucifer then contact German Shepherd Rescue NSW.
Medical notes
Lucifer is desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated and on heart worm prevention.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
