Hello, my name is Esmeralda! I came into the shelter as a stray with my 5 kittens! They have gone into foster care, so I am able to find a nice, happy home of my own! I am quite timid at first, and it took me at least a few weeks to settle into the shelter. I am looking for a patient, quiet home who will allow me to slowly gain my confidence and become comfortable. When you spend some time with me one on one I become very smoochy and affectionate, but I am just not confident enough to wander around the room or approach strangers yet. If you have the patience, love and are willing to not have expectations of me, please come in and meet me! I promise I will try to not be too scared!
