About Lila American Bulldog
ADOPT ME - LILA - CURRENTLY FOSTERED IN MELBOURNE
Lila has recently celebrated her first birthday 🎂 🎉 and is on the look out for a forever family. Lila found herself in the care of MBRC through no fault her own and whoever gets to adopt this young lady will know just how special she is.
Lila is a gentle girl who loves people and company. Her most favourite thing is a belly rub, and this is the compulsory way to start her day 😂 ! Lila isn't a jumper and walks nicely on a lead.
Lila's general obedience is good. She has mastered 'sit', 'drop' and 'roll', and will also sit and wait for her food. Lila is a fast learner and is only now learning how to play with toys and how they can be fun.
Lila has been great around kids and we think she would enjoy a forever family who has kids so she can be included in all the fun family activities at home and out & about. Spending time indoors with the family and also a decent sized fenced yard are essential in her forever home.
We would prefer a forever home where Lila is the only pet, and would ask her new family to take Lila to some group socialisation classes with a local trainer to help us feel more comfortable around other dogs.
Lila is an American Bulldog who has just turned 1 so she still has some growing to do. Being all white, her new home will have to be aware of her in the sun as we know how our ABs love to sunbake but it's not good for their skin as they are so easily burned. There are some dog-friendly sunscreens that can be purchased too.
Lila's adoption fee is $500. If you are located in Victoria and would like to adopt Lila please make an enquiry with the #bullycrew at Mini's Bulldog Rescue Club and submit an application https://www.minisbulldogrescue.com/apply
Medical notes
Lila is microchipped, desexed and up to date with C5 vaccination.

Applicants will be assessed in terms of best suitability for the dog. A meet & greet and yard inspection are essential parts of the screening process.
The first 2 weeks for every adoption is a trial period to ensure that both the dog and family are a good match. And once everyone is happy the dog's microchip will be changed across to the new family.
