About Brian and Dougall
Brian (15yrs) and Dougall (10yrs) are an adorable, sweet and happy bonded pair. They are urgently looking for a foster home together, or a foster with view to adopt, in Melbourne.
Brian and Dougall are some of the most friendly and happy little dogs. They are good with small, calm dogs (like them), and love a cuddle and lots of affection from their carer. They will need a foster home with no cats or young kids and someone who will allow the dogs to be inside with outdoor access. Dougall tends not to like being left outside alone.
Due to Brian's age, he has a few ongoing issues with one of his eyes. He will need a carer who is happy to travel to Mulgrave, where our vet is located, and give him his eye drops and his medication. If his eye does not improve over time, he will require surgery, so his carer must be prepared and happy to ensure he is comfortable, give him lots of TLC and see him through the recovery of his potential surgery.
All of Brian's expenses and vet bills will be paid for by the rescue, all we need is a loving and safe environment for him and his mate.
If you are interested in providing these two boys with a safe and loving foster home, please message us!
Medical notes
Due to Brian's age, he has a few ongoing issues with one of his eyes. If his eye does not improve after the course of his medication and eye drops, he may require surgery - this will be paid for by the rescue.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
