About Finn
With Christmas just around the corner, we really, really, really want to find a home for three year old Staffy mix, FINN.
Finn has spent three Christmases with ARK - 2017, 2018 and 2019 - and short of a miracle, he'll spend Christmas with us again this year.
It's deeply saddening to see any companion animal spend over 1000 days in foster care, just waiting for some good person to come along and claim them as their own.
In the case of Finn, the tragedy is compounded by the fact that there is no objective reason why he continues to be overlooked.
Put simply, he's a truly delightful dog. Sweet-natured. Well-behaved. Loves human company. Super affectionate. Loves kids and other dogs. Untested with cats.
Weighing 35 kgs, he is a big, strong lad and ideally suited to an active family with experience in larger dogs. He can walk well on a lead, but is inclined to pull if he sees something up ahead that takes his interest.
What sort of home does he need? Secure fencing is essential. He also needs a canine pal to play with or a home where someone is around most of the time. He is an inside-outside dog and likes to lounge about in the evenings with his family. He also has moderate exercise needs that can be satisfied by having a doggie friend to run around with or daily walks and a large backyard to explore.
His adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
If you can give him the home he deserves, please complete our online application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and someone will be in touch.
Applicants must be prepared to travel to Warwick, Queensland to meet Finn.
