About Chubbs
Chubbs is...well... chubby in the most adorable way. A very cuddly little man who is playful, adventurous and loves his humans. He is also quite placid and loves his quiet time. He is currently in foster care with 4 brothers and sisters, 3 host cats and 6 chickens is also used to being around kids. He loves to play with everybody!
Chubbs is a smart and considered pup and responds well to his humans instructions. He enjoys playing with his toys and leaves and sticks from the garden. He loves to go off for a wander then come back for some serious loving. He spends his days exploring, playing, and of course napping. Chubbs is very affectionate and absolutely loves to be held and nurtured by his humans. He enjoys being both inside and outside.
This gorgeous guy would suit a home with another dog or without another dog, but if he was in an only dog household, he would need to be included in all the family activities and regularly socialised with other dogs. Training will be essential to ensure he grows up to be a well mannered young man as well.
We would love to help get you started with that, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
Chubbs will have completed his vet work and be ready to join your family by the weekend of the 10th Feb. Please contact his foster Mum via email ensuring you have answered all questions below. After which, we can organise a meet asap.
