Petal

Petal is a super sweet puppy who is playful, adventurous and LOVES her humans. She's currently in foster care with 4 brothers and sisters, 3 host cats and 6 chickens who she adores. She is also used to being around kids and loves to play with everybody.

Petal is a very smart, indomitable little lady and responds well to her humans instructions. She enjoys playing with her toys and leaves and sticks from the garden. Her favourite game is play tug a war with her friends. She spends her days exploring, playing, and of course napping. Petal is very affectionate and absolutely loves to be held and cuddled by her humans. She enjoys being both inside and outside as long as she's with her people.

This gorgeous girl would suit a home with another dog or without another dog, but if she was in an only dog household, she would need to be included in all the family activities and regularly socialised with other dogs. Training will be essential to ensure she grows up to be a well mannered young lady as well.

We would love to help get you started with that, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.

Petal will have completed her vet work and be ready to join your family by the weekend of the 10th Feb. Please contact her foster Mum via email ensuring you have answered all questions below. After which, we can organise a meet asap.
