Doug

Doug is stunning looking but unfortunately he is not a confident boy. While in our care Doug has displayed signs of anxiety and he is not coping in our pound environment. Because of his anxiety Doug will thrash, jump, and roll when staff attempt to walk him. However when Doug is in a calm state, he is loving, intelligent and capable of listening/responding to commands.
Doug would be fine to be housed with another calm friendly dog. When tested with cats Doug has shown no interest in them.
This special boy needs a home with a patient owner, who will build his confidence, take him to/seek professional training and who will continue that training.
