About Missy
Missy HAS BEEN ADOPTED.We thank all those people who made an enquiry regarding adopting Missy.
Missy is a beautiful little foxy that just loves company! She would ideally suit an old person/couple looking for a loving and devoted pet to join their family. Missy will follow you everywhere, sit at your feet all day if that is what you want and she loves to go for her daily walks. She walks very well on lead and a short walk is all she would require. She has a very sweet nature, and never puts a foot wrong!
She goes into her bed when she is told to and sleeps well during the night. She must be able to have access inside the house 24 hours a day - she is only small and is very quiet. Like most dogs, she relaxes around the home during the day and for the past week or so has been watching plenty of tennis on tv.
Her very short coat only requires minimal maintenance - she quite enjoys her bath, and her coat is dry in a matter of minutes!
Missy will be available for adoption towards the end of February, but if you would like to know more about this little girl please phone Wendy on 6584 7027.
Medical notes
Missy will ready for adoption approx. around mid February as she still needs her final vaccination.
Adoption details
The first step is to phone or email Midcoast Dog Rescue Inc. for assessment regarding prospective ownership and pet suitability.
Adoption Application forms must be completed.
A property inspection will be carried out on properties in the Port Macquarie area so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you’ve selected. Proof of home ownership will be required. If renting your home, a letter from the owner’s agent confirming that the pet is allowed will be required.
A 2 week trial period commences on the day of adoption. If, for any reason, the dog is returned to Midcoast Dog Rescue within the trial period, the total adoption fee paid will be refunded.
All Midcoast Dog Rescue animals come desexed, microchipped, vaccinated (up to date), vet checked ,wormed, flea and tick treated.
.......................
Midcoast Dog Rescue Inc. is trying to expand its foster carer network so that we can help more dogs in need. This is a very rewarding experience and suits a variety of people. Some people, for whatever reason, are unable to make a permanent commitment to a dog, a commitment which can last for up to 15 years. Others use the fostering experience as an interim measure before committing to permanently owning a dog. If you think you could be interested in becoming a foster carer, either on a long-term or a short-term basis, and would like more information please contact Nigel on 6584 4992 or Wendy on 6584 7027.
