About Ronio
Meet Ronio, an adorable little terrier mix. Ronio is a cuddly, sweet and playful boy and seems to be very young, perhaps a year old at the most.
Ronio doesn't appear to have had any training prior to his arrival, so while being given some training by his current carer, his new family will need to be committed to training and helping him learn some more manners and some essential commands.
Being a pup, he can be a little mouthy while playing, however he is doing responding well to redirection in this area. Ronio is an active little guy and will need regular physical and mental exercise to ensure he doesn't become bored and/or destructive.
Ronio can be a little timid when meeting new people and when in new situations so he will need an understanding and patient owner, who is prepared to continue building his confidence with regular outings and socialisation. Being a young dog, lots of positive encounters out in the world, and the people in it, will be really beneficial for this little guy.
He is great with other similar sized dogs and will require a home with another young, playful desexed dog to keep him company and help him settle.
Further down the road, group obedience classes would be terrific for him, if only to receive the socialisation that comes with it.
Ronio has not been tested with cats or other small animals so we will be looking for a home without them, and due to him being a bit nervous at times, a home with young kids will not be suitable.
Ronio is located in Melbourne.
Medical notes
Ronio has only recently been vaccinated, so until he is safely covered, he will not be able to go out into public places.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
