Looking for love
Male Domestic Short Hair Cat

As far as cats go, I'm pretty much at the top. My name is Hector and I am hoping to find a family that will love me for the rest of my life.
I had a family once. But one day they decided they didn't want me anymore so took me to the vet so I would be put to sleep. Just like that they didn't love me.
The vet nurse was so lovely and couldn't stand to see me put to sleep, so she saved me and took me home. She couldn't keep me forever though so she contacted OTC for help and I was moved into foster care. I sure like foster care. My foster mum spoils me and I have a brother called O'Malley - he is looking for his forever family too.
My foster mum says I am amazing, which just adds to the mystery as to why my previous owner didn't want me anymore. I get a long well with animals, but I do need proper introductions, just to make sure I do want to be their friend. I just love to nap and snuggle. I won't get in your way and I won't make you made. I just want to love you
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home, or in a public place. If you have other animals they must be at the meet.
If at the meet, you and the dog get along- you have the option of either taking the dog on the spot (in exchange for the full adoption fee paid upfront, and contract signed)- or placing the dog on hold for up to 2 days without any holding fee applicable. When adoption begins you will be provided with 7 days' worth of food for the dog, as well as what brand and type of food it is, so that you may change their diet carefully and slowly, or purchase more, if needed.
*PLEASE NOTE we do not hold dogs for 3 days or longer, without a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the dog, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters and so you may miss out. We have had to make the deposit non refundable to avoid time-wasters, especially when it comes to puppies under 5 months of age. The $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the dog. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you pay a $100 holding fee so we can hold the dog for a week- the day you collect the dog you will sign and adoption contract, and pay the remaining $350 fee of which $50 is non-refundable.
During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic in your area and OTC will cover any treatment needed.
On commencement of the trial period, OTC will send you a copy of your signed contract, the vaccination cards, desexing certificate and microchip number implant details.
So. Ready to roll? Then fill out the attached short form, and we will be in contact to successful applicants asap. Feel free to follow us up via Facebook page inbox.
