About Tinkerbell~husky x shih tzu x corgi (Trial 9/2/18)
URGENT: Tinkerbell is a Husky x Shih Tzu x Corgi (we think). The unusual mix has produced a beautiful and unique dog with striking golden eyes and a lovely soft coat. She is 2 years old and weighs around 10kgs.
Tinkerbell is very smart and loves toys, fetch, tug and going for walks. She can be very sweet and affectionate and likes to sit next to you but doesn't need to be all over you. She's fairly independent. She learns quickly and loves learning new things. She sits and comes and is responsive to positive reinforcement training.
Tinkerbell had a terrible start in life and, as a result, has some issues such as defending high value treats from other dogs. She is sometimes uncomfortable with being touched around her hip area. DRN's professional trainers will advise you on settling Tinkerbell into her new home and provide ongoing support.
We are seeking a special home for Tinkerbell:
* Full time workers ok.
* Cats considered.
* No children under 16 years old.
* No other dogs.
* A person or couple who will be patient and gentle.
* Experienced with dogs.
* A relaxed, settled environment without a lot of visitors.
In the right home, with gentleness and understanding, Tinkerbell will shine!

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
