Clooney is a 3 yr old Wolfhound X who is a gentle giant and loves everyone he meets. He is currently in foster care with 2 small dogs and 2 teenage children and gets on with them all. Whilst Clooney is happily living with the small dogs he would prefer to be an only dog so then he can get all the attention for himself. He would not be suitable for small children due to his size but would absolutely love teenage children who will cuddle, play and adore him.
Clooney is toilet trained, sleeps inside all night and absolutely loves his daily walk. He walks really well on a harness and just happily strolls along. Clooney when he is out walking requires slow and controlled introductions to other dogs as he can sometimes bark at other dogs. Once he has met them he is fine. If you can’t give him 2x 20minute walks a day then Clooney may not be the dog for you as this is the highlight of his day and he so looks forward to them. He also loves his squeaky toys!! Clooney is also a very chatty boy who often talks to you in his doggy language. He will need a family that will allow him access inside all the time as he loves his human family and being with them.
Clooney will need an owner who has strong leadership skills and can show him that he is not allowed to do what he likes, when he likes. Whilst he is very gentle, he needs someone who is going to show him consistent boundaries. Formal training is also a must to ensure he keeps his good manners. He also would prefer someone who is home a lot or someone who works from home as he loves human company and a very secure yard is a must.
Clooney is currently in foster care at Noble Park.
