About Peaches
Peaches is really very gorgeous. Like her littermates she is extremely intelligent, but she also has the most lovable nature and is so nice to have around, with her gentle ways and lovely composure. She would just love to have her own special human to form a strong relationship with. She is a playful, healthy and confident puppy, and can hold her own with the other pups, who are a boisterous mob. Peaches has naturally good manners and will be very easy to train because she just wants to please. She has been raised up to 8 weeks with his wonderful mum and is now in foster care with her litter-mates awaiting re-homing. Peaches is doing brilliantly with crate and house training.
Peaches was born in Ali Curung under the schoolhouse. Ali Curung is dog dreaming country and we think that makes these youngsters pretty special. Mum Bluebelle is a delightful dog who didn't belong to anyone but the school teachers looked after her, and she in turn looked after her pups. She was an amazing mum - just so caring and devoted, and she gave these pups a terrific start. The whole family came to us when they were 3 weeks old. Bluebelle was with them until they were fully weaned at 8 weeks old. Now they are in a nice safe domestic environment being taught some basic lessons like house training and crate training. Peaches sleeps in her crate, and often goes in there for a rest too. They are also with older dogs and honing their doggy manners nicely. Peaches is doing really well and is more than ready for some individualised socialisation and training and to go out into the world and find her forever home.
Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Peaches' adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide.
