Precious

Precious is a sweet, sweet little girl. Like her littermates she is very intelligent but also gentle in nature. Precious has always loved her toys and she loves to play in the garden with natural objects likes leaves and sticks as well. Precious loves the water too, and improvises to create swimming pools for herself! She is a playful, healthy and confident puppy, and enjoys a bit of rough and tumble with her litter-mates, but not too rough please! She has a lovely cooperative nature and just wants to please. She would love to live with a small family with one older dog or a cat for company. Precious has been raised up to 8 weeks with her wonderful mum and is now in foster care with her litter-mates awaiting re-homing. She is doing brilliantly with crate and house training.

Precious was born in Ali Curung under the schoolhouse. Ali Curung is dog dreaming country and we think that makes these youngsters pretty special. Mum Bluebelle is a delightful dog who didn't belong to anyone but the school teachers looked after her, and she in turn looked after her pups. She was an amazing mum - just so caring and devoted, and she gave these pups a terrific start. The whole family came to us when they were 3 weeks old. Bluebelle was with them until they were fully weaned at 8 weeks old. Now they are in a nice safe domestic environment being taught some basic lessons like house training and crate training. Precious sleeps in her crate, and often goes in there for a rest by herself. They are also with older dogs and honing their doggy manners nicely. Precious is growing up so nicely and is more than ready for some individualised socialisation and training and to go out into the world and find his forever home.

Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Precious' adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide.
