About Luna ~ Greyhound X (on trial 12/6/2018)
Luna is an adorable 2 year old female Greyhound cross that ticks all the boxes. She's energetic and bubbly and just loves life.
Luna is great with other dogs but she is very protective of her food and we believe she would benefit from living with an experienced family who could manage the meal time. She's fantastic and gentle with children and has lived with 2 cats and used to sleep with one of them.
Luna is housetrained and can be an inside/outside dog but would love to sleep inside. She has basic obedience, knows sit, shake, lay down, spin and speak. She is crate and mat trained.
Luna walks well on lead (she loves her walks) and has good recall. She isn't a barker or a jumper (5 ft fencing will be fine). Luna really does have a beautiful nature and ideally her perfect home would be somewhere with another dog to play with and a place where she will be included as part of the family. She is a medium size dog.
For more information or to meet Luna, please contact Donna on Timmypebmilo@hotmail.com or 0466099426. Luna is in foster care in Warabrook, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Luna’s adoption fee is $450 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
