Skye

This is really difficult kid to list.
Skye has been with us for 6 months in this time she has not once shown any aggression but this girl is unique in so many ways.
She has the full on kelpie herding instinct the only thing to round up here is the cats and it drives her mad as they dont listen or give a dam instead smooch her and she has no idea how to deal with them.
Skye was surrendered having lived her life on a chain we had no idea she was arriving they pulled up and dissed her off the ute and drove away from this day on we have tried to work her out.
In the scheme of things Skye has no affinity with us as far as obedience goes or for that matter food treats well food is not that important
After some time she joins us on the verandah for a pat but this still happens on her terms.
We have her in our home she never makes a mess and is very respectful but still confused as what she is meant to do.
It is busy here and generally not a lot of quiet time so I am hoping maybe a home where she has a human prepared to do as we do pick her up and encourage her to feel safe and loved will be enough for this girl to show just how amazing she can be.
Skye wags her tail up and down rather than side to side she is still on the lean side as she sits back and waits for the other dogs and cats to eat it seems food is not that important.
Skye is now sleeping in our bedroom and loving it.
In saying this we have to pick her up and bring her in for her to do this.
Skye is located in Walwa Vic she is listed as available for interstate adoption but a meet and greet is essential.
There will be a home for this little kelpie girl its just finding the right one I know Skye wants it all she just needs to work it out. Really well socialised with other dogs as in her time with us has met lots and does this with style but they would need to keep up with her zest for fun.

Please dont consider applying for Skye unless you have the patience and dedication to offer.
UPDATE

In the last 2 weeks Skye comes to me when she is called I have no clue what has changed but the penny has dropped and this beautiful girl is now wanting to be a part of our family.
This sweet lass has worked it out.
