Lucy, red Kelpie x Short-coated Border Collie, senior girl. Lucy has a beautiful nature and was going to be put down for no good reason until Dog Rescue Mudgee took her in. Lucy is good with kids and other dogs (provided they are not in her face and jumping all over her). We are not sure about cats.
As Lucy spent time on large acreage out of town, she is accustomed to chasing foxes and rabbits and will need a secure yard and good fencing to avoid wandering. Lucy is an older girl with a lovely nature and is living with four smaller dogs at the moment.
With her smooth coat that can easily be cared for with just a bath and the occasional brushing, Lucy is very low maintenance. Lucy would be happy as an only dog given plenty of love, attention and exercise, but wouldn’t mind sharing the love with other dogs in the home.
If you feel you can provide this deserving dog a loving, permanent home, please contact Nora on 0418 402 150 or email email@example.com. Lucy is in foster care in Mudgee, NSW.
Lucy is de-sexed, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200.
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
