About Jax ~ kitten (on trial 17/2/2018)
Jax is a gorgeous little black and white boy who had a bit of a rough start in life but has settled in to a loving foster home without skipping a beat! He is your everything you’d want in a cute little kitten - super inquisitive and playful, mixed with a little bit of mischief! He and his bother Opie are absolute besties so if you were thinking of two babies, they’re a great pair who will play and wrestle all day, before curling up and napping snuggled together. After coming in to care quite skinny he has easily put on his healthy kitty weight.
Jaxis not yet desexed, so will need to be adopted to a home in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens or the Central Coast so that he can return to our vets for this at around 4-5 months old. He is getting quite used to being handled, however has not had a chance to meet kids yet. He has been living in a house with small dogs and has gotten along with them fine, but will need to be introduced slowly to new brothers or sisters.
For more information, or to organise to meet Jax, please contact his foster carer Meg at m.phillips7@live.com. He is currently located in New Lambton (Newcastle).
Jax’s adoption fee is $250 and includes desexing, vaccinations, microchipping, and he will come treated for worms and fleas.
Medical notes
Happy and healthy kitten.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
