Zuri

Zuri is independent but extremely loyal and protective. She likes to sleep on the lounge or anybody's bed and if she's cold she will happily push her way under the blanket and cuddle up. When she sees you bringing home a bag of bones she'll happily sit at your feet with the goofiest smile on her face waiting for you to open the bag and give them to you. She loves beef bones and chicken necks but turkey necks are her absolute favourite.
She doesn't like baths but if you put her in a nice warm shower she will stand there long enough for you to wash her. She will look at you the whole time with a look that makes you feel terribly guilty for getting her wet. She is great around kids. Whenever my kids are outside playing she stays where she can see them and does laps of the perimeter to make sure they're safe.
Zuri needs to be an only dog and not sure about cats or other animals because she hasnt been tried with them. She needs to be in a home with a high strong fence.
While Zuri is great with kids she sometimes can take time to warm up to adults.
Zuri is house trained and knows how to sit, stay, drop and wait for food. As with all dogs she would benefit from continued training.
While she is used to spending time alone during the day she Would prefer to spend the days with her family and sleeping inside of a night.
