About Halona
Halona's Journey
We have some girls which came into our care as puppies but are now fully grown...It seems unbelievable but three have been with us for over 18 months and they are all beautiful young ladies now. There is another group of 4 who are approaching 8- 10 moths in care.....also striking girls with great personalities.
HALONA is a very special case who has now been with us for 2 years. This young lady experienced starvation and mistreatment as a pup so it takes her a long time to trust people.
She gets on much better with females so would be suited to being a companion for a woman... she is a very slim Boxer X who springs about like a lamb and finds it hard to sit still except at night... However, she seems to be happy to amuse herself with toys throwing them about and catching them. Once she does trust you, she likes to sneak up next to you on the bed and enjoys being close to you. She will let you pat her and will roll over for belly scratches but during the day she is always on high alert.
She does get on really well with other dogs as she obviously doesn't see them as a threat to her... Halona will need loads of patience but in time will repay you with loyalty and affection.
