About Isla
Sunday is turning into Umm-day...as in “Ummm how are you not adopted yet?”.
Darling, petite, playful, cheeky, late bloomer Isla has been waiting 3/4 of her life to find her furever after. At only about 1 year old, 8 months is a very long time to wait.
She’s a spunky little tortie who is very cat friendly, very child friendly and very dog cheeky...but still she waits.
She’s tried out a few different foster homes and fit in well with all of them so we know she will fit in with yours. If only someone could see past her initial shyness and believe she’s worth the wait. You will not regret it for a second.
Having suffered from flu when she was just a bub her growth was a little stunted - she’s a permanent kitten and a nice compact companion. She’s been healthy ever since, has been microchipped, desexed and all those potential parasites have been prevented (say that 10 times fast). She couldn’t be more ready.
Once she is out of her shell she will keep you laughing with her youthful antics. Chasing balls, practicing a bit of scratching pole acrobatics, kitty zoomies and just Isla being Isla. It’s all amusing. We could all take a leaf out of Isla’s book and enjoy the little things a bit more. Laughter is the best medicine after all, so Isla must have a PHD.
But she won’t back away from a cuddle...or any attention really. She just wants to be a part of everything. She’s interactive and ready to join you.
She is located in foster care in Darra and is ready for her forever family. Set aside some time and remember that her personality will grow once she knows you. Don’t let her hiding make you think she’s not amazing.
