I’m Ben, and I a lovely gentle giant. I’m great with children. I’m well trained too. I can “speak”, shake hands, lie down and of course, wait to be fed. I like to have a clamshell filled with water that I can dip into in the hot weather. I love water! What else do you need to know about me? Well, I don’t like cats. And I definitely don’t like snakes. And you’d better keep a good lock on your bar fridge, because I am expert at breaking in and stealing alcohol - nothing like a beer for quenching a thirst in the heat :) But the vet says it’s poisonous to dogs, so I’m not allowed near the stuff! I still try, though he he!

I’d like a home where we can go on lots of walks and play with water. Did I say I love water?

I’m on the larger size. I weigh about 36kg. And about every 1, 2 or 3 years, I’ve had a bit of a skin allergy, mainly on my feet, which has ended up being infected. But really, I’m a happy, healthy guy. I’ve lived with another dog before.

A few hours flying is absolutely worth it for remotely located animals if it means we have the opportunity to be adopted. My airfare to Perth is $150 thanks to SAFE and a discount from QANTAS, and I can fly elsewhere in Australia too.
