Samara was rescued from a property last year along with her two seven month old kittens and her ten week old kitten. Her background is not well known, but it is obvious that she was mistreated by humans as she was terrified of people when she first came into care and gets nervous if you come too close to her whilst wearing shoes.

This gorgeous little lady needs to find a quiet forever home with patient, cat savvy people. The easiest way to her heart is through her stomach, as she loves all kinds of wet food and the occasional chicken treat. When it is food time she purs like crazy, races to her food bowl and sits waiting for her meal. Samara has recently become interested in toys and loves her fish on a stick and fluffy stick toys, but only when she is in the mood.

Samara may not be a lap cat, but she loves to sleep on the end of the bed or the lounge and will follow you around the house to see what you're up to. She is a small cat and has gotten used to being picked up and carried around, but if she is unhappy she will growl and let you know its time to give her some space. Her ideal home would contain a cat tree for her to scratch or sleep on, as well as some big windows for bird watching.

Loud noises often scare her and she can be nervous around new people as well as anyone wearing shoes. However, with a whole lot of patience, love, and time, she will settle into her forever home and be a wonderful cat companion for the right people.
