I’m Smudge and I’m a very cuddly boy. I also adore other dogs and just want to play with them. At the moment, I’m a bit timid with strangers initially, but I soon warm up to them I’m the boss of my brother he he, even though I’m smaller. I’m learning fast and I can already sit for treats.

Both of my parents are larger dogs. I’m biggish now although not as tall as my brother. It really is hard to be sure with mixed breeds but it’s possible I’m going to grow up to be a big boy. I’m muscly, that’s for sure. So it will be extra important that I have all I need to help me become the best family member I can be and so you can rely on my behaviour.

Wanna know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like daily training so that I learn and practice the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it; and so I always obey what you tell me to do. Consistent, clear boundaries will mean that I always know the right way to behave. And of course, socializing with lots of people, dogs and other animals is important too. Getting out and about to exercise at least once a day is vital for dogs as it stimulates our brains and bodies, creates opportunities for us to socialise and tires us out. It stops us from creating mischief at home!!!!

A few hours flying is absolutely worth it for remotely located animals like me if it means we have the opportunity to be adopted. My airfare to Perth is $150 thanks to SAFE and QANTAS, and I can fly elsewhere in Australia too.
