About Ruby ~ 2 year old Kelpie X (on trial 13-4-2018)
Ruby is a beautiful 2 to 3 year old Kelpie X. She is very affectionate and loves to be close for cuddles. She needs someone who has time for cuddles and reassurance.
Ruby currently lives with two other dogs Eddy a fox terrier x and Lilly a Kelpie x. She gets on well with both of them, especially Lilly. They play nicely together and are great friends. Ruby would love to have another dog for company in her forever home or regular opportunities to play with other dogs. Perhaps your dog is a bit bored and needs a play mate?
Ruby is an inside dog as she loves to follow you everywhere. She loves sitting with you on the lounge and sleeps indoors. Ruby would also be good with children as she is gentle as well as being a little timid sometimes .
Ruby walks well on a lead. She is getting accustomed to going to the dog park and is good with the other dogs. She has begun venturing into the water for a swim.
If you have time to give Ruby the attention and affection she needs she would be your perfect dog.
For more information or to meet Ruby please contact Donna on Timmypebmilo@hotmail.com or 0466 099 426. Ruby is in foster care in Lake Macquarie, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Ruby's adoption fee is $450 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
