About Mandy Willoughby
I’m a very responsible cat.
I love my humans and am always there to support them, checking in with them to say hi and my special favourite is to greet them enthusiastically when they return home to me – I’m at the front of the crew to ensure I check them out and ask if that they’ve had a fabulous day and to welcome them home.
I love to play and even though I have a couple of little kitten kiddies (also looking for a forever home) I am still not much more than a kitten myself. I love nothing more than to run around after laser pointers, and catch the mice though I can’t figure out why they’re attached to string.. hmm.
I have a very special and important job during the day: that’s to sit on one of the beds in the front room, catching the sun rays and watching the birds outside the window, I need to make sure those cheeky birds are behaving themselves.
When I think my foster mum isn’t looking I love to roll around on the doona, the folds of the doona are the best, though bliss to me is a good head rub. To say thanks I’ll purr like a freight train and reach out my paw to give you a big high five. Yes, I’m also very clever!
I adore attention– I want to be able to sleep with my forever family and be part of the action in every way possible. I could handle being in a home by myself though I would like a feline friend or my humans home during the day sometimes.
If I’m around for a while waiting for my home there may be further updates at the link below:

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
