About Miss Ladybug **2nd Chance Cat Rescue**
Miss Ladybug came into care when she was just eight weeks old, together with her older siblings. She was found very dirty, scared and traumatised; we are unsure of what really happened in this home. When she first came to 2nd Chance Cat Rescue she did not purr at all, she would run and hide, totally afraid of what humans would do. Even a hand would scare her.
Today she is a completely different kitten, who has a great attitude about her. The chance was wonderful to see and hear. with her older siblings.
Miss Ladybug has come out of her shell more and more over the last few weeks and she's been gaining trust and enjoying life.
Unfortunately she finds it very hard being around dogs. However we have been slowly introducing her to her foster family's small chihuahua. She was extremely petrified when she first saw the dog, but now she is warming to the idea of it being around.
Miss Ladybug loves to get her attention from all the people around her now, and especially from the many visitors of different age groups that come and go, although small children are very difficult for her at this stage.
She also loves to fall asleep on you and she snores. She really is a purr machine. She is also a bit of a sticky beak, which is very funny.
Miss Ladybug would be best suited to a very quiet environment without very young children, as she came from a loud home with four very young children. She may adjust over time with young children, but it would take time and dedication.
Miss Ladybug is a very independent soul who doesn’t like loud noises at all. She is an indoor only kitten and has lived a protected life since coming into care, in order to gain human trust again, which she has done quite well.
She will need to be groomed every couple of days to keep her fur free of mats and looking good.
She will keep you entertained for hours when playing with anything on a string (must be monitored while playing with these), which she will chase. She loves to explore her environment and will come to you in her own time. When she's tired she will sleep almost anywhere, especially in dark, warm and quiet spots.
She is a very soft-spoken girl with the most outstanding eyes. Miss Ladybug would be be fine in most situations, however she would benefit from having a playmate with her as she has never been left on her own at all.
Given the chance, Miss Ladybug would fit right in and complete your family.
