Sometimes I wonder, amid the smog of hatred and corruption that pollutes this world, is there anything pure left?

Turns out I’ve recently discovered the answer is yes. The answer is Cairo.

This angelic creature is an enigma that defies all reason. I’m starting to think that perhaps I have the reincarnation of Buddha in my possession. Cairo isn’t capable of growling and I’ve yet to hear him bark. He is simply love. Pure unadulterated love.

Cairo’s emotions are palpable. When he emits sadness you want to scoop him up and cuddle him forever. His head droops and his little body starts to follow. He looks up at you with his big woeful eyes and pleads for you to make it better.

When he radiates happiness it’s downright contagious. His little paws clumsily paw at the air as he snuffles his joy around the room and he breaks into the widest smile I’ve ever seen.

Cairo is a purebred Japanese Chin. He was surrendered to me through no fault of his own and he is destined to share the secrets of his little universe with one very lucky benefactor.

Cairo is very low maintenance. He is toilet trained and follows you dutifully around the park offlead unles he sees a butterfly that captures his imagination.

Cairo is gentle and kind and undemanding. He is a beautiful, gracious character. Cairo is 4kg of furry bandaid for your soul.
