About Dexter
Meet Dexter the 6 month old pup that is looking for an active and loving family to call his own. Dexter is a Greyhound x Patterdale Terrier and he is a real sweetheart. Currently Dexter is in foster care with a family with 3 girls ranging from 10 to 14 years of age and he is loving it.
Dexter is house toilet trained and loves to spend most of his time inside in the midst of the action. He will need some further training around walking on lead and practicing not to jump up when excited. It is reported that Dexter can get a bit excited with cats and can be rough so would be best not being rehoused with a cat or receive more training.
Dexter loves company and just being with people so he would not cope being home a lone for a long period of time.
If he could talk we are sure Dexter would say he wanted to be able to be someone's constant companion and shadow.
Dexter's adoption fee is $400 and this will help to cover some of the costs associated with his veterinary work - vet check, flea and worm treatment, vaccination, microchipping and desexing. Dexter is heading to the vet this week for his desexing surgery and will then be ready to go to his new home.
If you would like to know more about Dexter please call Carolyn on 0427 221 231.
Temporary Microchip Number DAB1
Medical notes
Dexter is being desexed on Thursday and will be ready to go to a new home on the weekend.
