About Fern
Fern is a gorgeous little girl who really enjoys being involved in whatever is going on and who plays sweetly with the other pups. She is one of the bigger pups and is a bit of a leader, with her confident sociable personality. She is well socialised to a variety of people too. Fern would make a really great family dog, we think.
Fern comes from the remote north of South Australia in the APY lands. Her mum did not survive and Fern was adopted and fed by another mummy dog. A kind couple took the whole little family in and looked after them until they could come to us to raise and rehome. Little Fern is doing great and is now ready to find her forever home.
Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Fern's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide.
Adoption details
We request that prospective adopters email us with an initial enquiry. We will forward an application form. On receipt of the application form, we will make phone contact to discuss the adoption. We try hard to match the dog to the person, ultimately looking for the best fit for the dog. Shipping fees may or may not be included in the adoption fee, and this will be stated in the pet's profile.
