About Brutus DL1798
Don't let the name fool you... What a beautiful softie Brutus is! All he wants to do is be near his people and roll on his back so you can rub his tummy.
When we asked our photographer friend Megan to meet Brutus, this is what she had to say: "I was not expecting this beautiful soft boy when I heard his name. It’s the name he was given by his previous owners but he is so gentle and lovable it somehow doesn’t suit him. Brutus loves his people, big and little, and he loves rides in the car and walks.
His lovely foster carers are walking him daily and he’s working off a couple of extra pounds. He was a little worried about my camera and wasn’t sure what I wanted from him but he asked for belly rubs repeatedly and I was happy to oblige. I won’t lie- he stole my heart. Could he steal yours too?"
Brutus understands his basic commands sit, stay and come. He is very obedient at home, but tends to get excited when he sees other dogs, as he's eager to make friends. We are still working with him on his social skills, but he has come far from where he started. Brutus hasn't yet met cats.
Brutus loves to be included as a special member of the family! He is happy to spend some time outside, but prefers to be indoors with you, and would enjoy having family home more often.
Brutus is the sweetest boy, he has a fantastic nature, so friendly and always wagging his tail! You can't help but fall in love. If you're ready to meet Brutus, please contact us by email to apply.
