About Blobby the Sabre tooth tiger (CaV17-153) *Free*
Hey there! I'm Sabre, more commonly known as Blobby, and I'm a super cool cat. I am sooo affectionate and I just want love and cuddles 24/7 - and as you can see, there's rather a lot of me to love! If you're looking to build upper body strength don't waste money on expensive gym membership, just adopt me and carry me around the house!
I'm living in foster care with 2 very large dogs and several other cats - as long as you introduce me slowly and sensibly, I'll be very happy to live with other animals. I have lived most of my life as an indoor only cat and I don't have a lot of street smarts (and I certainly can't run away from any threats very quickly!) so I'd be best off as an indoor kitty at my new house.
I was only surrendered because my family got divorced and then my mum got a new boyfriend who was really allergic to me.Even though I'm short haired I do tend to shed a bit so hopefully you won't mind that. I'm trying to see the bright side of things and view this all as a big new adventure. My foster home has been great, but I'm pretty keen to find somewhere permanent to put down my roots.
Did I mention that I'm super handsome, with the most amazing charcoal coat and awesome silver under-coat??
When I first came into care, my foster mum noticed that I was always super duper friendly, until she tried to touch my tail - then, I got really grouchy. Sometimes I tried to attack my own tail like it didn't belong to me! The vets found out that I had something wrong with one of the vertebrae in my tail and it was causing me heaps of pain. They couldn't do anything to fix it so guess what... they amputated it and now I have no tail!
I'm coping really well (I'm much happier because it isn't hurting me all the time!) and now I have this rad stump. It's kinda hilarious and I won't get offended if you laugh a bit. It's just another thing that makes me really unique.
Anyway there's not much more I can tell you here, but if you come and meet me I can tell you in person how great I am. I'm sure you're really great too! Adopt me, and we can be cool kids together.
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
