About D387 Frankie
Frankie is our “Little Miss Sunshine”, always happy and full of enthusiasm. She loves people, is good with kids and is an affectionate, affable 24 month old pup. Frankie’s enthusiasm can sometimes get the best of her when out and about, and she becomes very heightened when meeting other dogs (especially when she is on lead). This behaviour is something that is being actively worked on through professional dog training. NRAS intends to fund further training for Frankie in her new home.
Frankie loves going to the dog beach where she can socialise and find like-minded playmates. Her recall there is improving.
Frankie could live happily with another dominant dog. She has been very respectful of the little dogs at a carer's place.
Frankie has lived as an indoor dog but she has easily adapted to life as an outside dog. She is very easy going and quiet at home & has displayed no separation anxiety, destructive behaviours or escape attempts.
Frankie enjoys travelling in the car and playing fetch with her favourite squeaky pig. She is an active, intelligent girl who needs regular exercise and stimulation to maintain her easy going nature at home. Frankie responds very well to basic commands and obedience in a controlled environment. She can sit, shake, wait and drop, but can get distracted by other dogs when out and about, making recall and focus unreliable. Frankie would really love a permanent home with experienced dog trainers as she is very eager to please. She is a beautiful soul who charms her way into the hearts of everyone she meets.
Medical notes
She is in excellent health.
