About Ryder ~ Jack Russell x Foxy (on trial 1/2/18)
9 month old Ryder is much like a child of a comparative age; extremely active, loving, precocious, a smoocher, boundary pushing and very smart. This 6kg little gem is absolutely adorable but needs ongoing training and lots of daily exercise. He can be a bit of a hoarder, collecting his treasures, no mind if they are your shoes or a hearing aid, a word of warning they may get chewed. Ryder is a quirky babe, a thinker, getting into antics you would have never considered, sure to bring a smile to your face. Ryder will even dance for you. But don't let your guard down, remember the shoes.
Ryder, again like any child, is talkative, telling you what he wants and he won't give up until he gets his way, be it dinner or to go outside. He is housetrained and uses a doggy door. He loves to sleep with his human and adores playing with his doggy pals.
Ryder loves to go for walk or run and reacts positively to training. He is great with school aged children but hasn't been tested with younger children, cats or pocket pets. Like any Dog Rescue Newcastle babe, he requires secure fencing.
Interested?
Do you go for a walk or run daily?
Do you have an active furry pal for Ryder?
Do you have the heart and mind to train this boy to be the best he can be?
If you can answer yes to all of the above, ring now, you will never regret it.
For more information or to meet Ryder, please contact his foster carer Doreen on anne4drn@gmail.com or 0407 721 759. Ryder is in foster care in Singleton, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Ryder’s adoption fee is $500 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
