About “Riah & Reggie”, Looking for a Special Heart. Bris
Riah and Reggie are looking for extra-special humans with hearts big enough to fit both of them. They were adopted together three years ago, but a change in family circumstances means they’re now looking for a new home. This is double bad luck for Riah, who had already been adopted and returned once before, also through no fault of her own. Riah desperately needs some stability in her life, so we want her and Reggie to stay together in a home that will love them forever.
Riah and Reggie are both easy dogs with delightful temperaments. Reggie’s a clown and a cuddle tart, whereas Riah is gentler but equally affectionate. Neither are particularly active, and after a short burst of playtime they’ll happily spend most of their time lounging around. Both are house trained, and used to spending time inside whenever their humans are home. Reggie has a knack for knowing when his humans need cheering up, and will rest his big head in your lap to make you smile. Riah is more sensitive, and her bottom lip quivers when she gets excited. Reggie and Riah need a home without small dogs or small children, as Riah can find them overwhelming. They’re not cat-friendly but both have been trained to live with chickens!
This is a simply gorgeous pair of dogs who deserve to find somewhere they can live out their days happily together. They don’t ask much from their humans, except a heart that will open for two beautiful animals in need of a new home.

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, they can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour. Yes, they may "grow out" of it after a few weeks in their new home, but why put the dog through that stress to ultimately live all day alone, while everyone is at work? As a result we do not rehome dogs into households where they are left on their own for more than 4 hours per day, without either people or another dog for company.
