About Geri
Geri is an incredibly sociable, attentive cat, she's always around, watching what's happening and checking stuff out from a distance.
She is almost like a puppy with her perfect recall, she's highly food motivated and is a quick learner.
Geri has been socialized with my own dog (golden retriever) and my 2 adults cats - who she very quickly became attached to, especially my ex-colony cat, Geri can often be seen grooming her, or laying directly on top of her.
Rescued from a local shopping center, she was suffering from severe cat flu and emaciation, Geri was sick and terrified. It has taken about 3-4 months of intense rehabilitation and behavior modification to build her into a confident, friendly and affectionate cat. She often naps on the bed with me, having a long belly, chin and head massage. She has impeccable house manners and is low maintenance.
She is very cat friendly, and would get on well with another young playful cat.
Medical notes
Geri has been on a course of behavior modification medications to help eleviate some of the stress during integration to become an indoor only, companion pet. She is settled, balanced and more relaxed since starting on clomipramine, I would highly suggest continuing with this while adjusting her into a new house hold and social group, but long term she could very easily be weaned off.
