About Rafe
Ah, Rafe the Rascal – he is a gorgeous, engaged, curious, playful, affectionate kitten. This little guy is the complete perfection of kitten package. He loves to hang out with people and his brothers, loves his food, toys and just is a bundle of energy. Super playful, will play and play and then when he has had enough, his eyes start to droop and you know he is ready for a rest which is fair enough he is still very young and small.
He loves to be patted and is always looking for a spot on your knee – he is already a total love bug, lap cat– has a loud purr and when he is grown he will purr like a freight train.
Rafe is very confident and intelligent, loves people and will adapt easily either to a quiet home with older people or the busy bustle of a family.
He is unusual as he will actually stare into your eyes for a while – and doesn’t break off eye contact. It is really unique considering he is so young. He loves to jump on his carer’s shoulder from the desk while she is sitting on the ground and likes to be the centre of attention wherever possible. Is fabulous at balancing on his two hind legs to grab toy mice and play with them with his two front paws.
Doesn’t react when the dog barks or at the sight of the other cats.
Would be ideal if he could be adopted with Ryder. They are so close - play, sleep and groom each other consistently.
Fully toilet trained.
Unsure if he will be an inside only cat at this time.
Please note: our cats are not available for interstate adoption. We also do not adopt to people under the age of 25 years.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
